چکیده
Sand production is a common phenomenon in oil and gas reservoirs, which occurs when reservoir fluids exert sufficient drag force on rocks to erode the matrix. Numerical models for sand have been used understand sanding mechanisms forecast sand-production potential of formations design well completion, optimize production, prevent setbacks future operations. This paper presents mathematical model defining conditions onset as predict quantify rate. We also introduce fluid-flow coupling geomechanical model. By using proposed set experimental data, sanding-related variables are analyzed, matching process simulated results analysis performed. The show that elastoplastic constitutive indispensable, clear relationship exists between plastic strains.

Failure Behavior and Constitutive Model of Weakly Consolidated Soft Rock
Mining areas in western China are mainly located in soft rock strata with poor bearing capacity. In order to make the deformation failure mechanism and strength behavior of weakly consolidated soft mudstone and coal rock hosted in Ili No. 4 mine of Xinjiang area clear, some uniaxial and triaxial compression tests were carried out according to the samples of rocks gathered in the studied area, r...
متن کاملSand Production Control in Sandstone Reservoirs Using a Modified Urea-formaldehyde Re
Several techniques have been used for sand production control in sandstone reservoirs. The main objective of this research is to present a suitable resin to be used as a consolidation agent in oil reservoirs. To achieve this purpose, urea-formaldehyde resin, phenol-formaldehyde resin, and modified urea-formaldehyde resin were selected to be studied. Core samples were made by the sand sample prov...
متن کاملInvestigation on Flow Rule and Productivity in Poorly Consolidated Reservoirs
Based on the production data and statistical information of a practical oilfield, it is proved that the flow rule in wormhole or extra wormhole can be regarded as a high speed Non-Darcy flow, and used the Forchheimer equation to represent. The Forchheimer model is superior to the exponent model and Mazaheri model. Then, the productivity equation of poorly consolidated reservoir with wormhole is...
